Reinvented.

Summer brings sleep, but also boredom. I've been using paint shop ever since junior high, and now that I have graduated, I decided I might revisit some concepts on those days when I have nothing to do.

So here they are, my new creations from old photos:

The Raven

Part fun, part extra credit for English class-Nancy and I decided we wanted to do something a little more creepy.
This shoot was probably the most fun to set up. Kylie and I hung up sheets on the wall in our extra room and splattered paint all over them. Granted, it was messy- and the sheets will never be the same.

Peacock Pleasure

A Touch of the Dark Side

Kylie:

Alyxis

I've always wanted to photograph a redhead, and I'm so excited I got the chance!
Alyxis is only 14 years-old, and this is her first real time in front of a camera. (well, sorta)

I'd been checking the weather, waiting for a nice day to arrive. I was extremely happy for today, as it was supposed to be sunny. But to my dismay, the clouds were overhead and the wind was throwing dust in our faces. And it hurt too.

Alyxis and I decided to head down into the Rock Creek Canyon where we would be blocked from the wind a little. As it turns out, I'm kind of happy for the crappy weather, otherwise I would have never thought of this location, and I really love how the pictures turned out.

Mod Twenties

When something is brewing in my brain, Nicole is always ready to go!
This theme was mostly just for fun, but I really like the way the photos turned out.

The Canterbury Tales

Madeline, Nancy, and I made a video for our Canterbury Tales project for English class. I had to get some pictures of course, but don't worry the blood is ketchup! Below is the final video and a few shots taken during filming.

The beginning of the video, the Prioress' Prologue, is a sequence of photos meshed together.
And yes, The tall, sexy red head with the mask is me! JK!

The Puppeteers

So, I mentioned the shoot with Maddie that I was really excited about, and here it is!
Nancy, Madeline, and Nicole were stuck shooting in the freezing cold wind, but they were great sports, and I know they had fun. The wind even turned out to be a good addition!
